Charging your Battery

The chargers used with all our ProTrolley products are specially designed to charge the battery at optimum levels. The unit is very simple to use - simply plug the charger into the battery and switch on the mains. Follow these simple rules and you should have trouble free charging. The 1207 model is a 3 stage charger can be left connected in between rounds if this is not an extended period.

If you know that you will not be playing for at least a month, you can store the battery. Fully charge the battery, remove from the charger and store in place where the ambient temperature is above 10 degrees Celsius and less than 30 degrees Celsius. Recharge every 3 months or 24 hours before your next round.

Do not expose the charger to any form of moisture. Place on a hard surface in a well ventilated area.

Do not use in a sealed container or cover, and do not operate the charger on carpet or similar soft material.

Do not operate the charger with a damaged mains lead or output lead, never attempt to shorten or alter the output lead.

If your charger does develop a fault, do not disassemble the unit as this may result in a risk of electric shock or fire. The unit does not contain any user serviceable parts.

Do not operate the charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped or damaged in any way, please contact your local service agent for checking.

It is very important that you connect you battery in line with the instructions supplied.

Switch the charger off before you disconnect the battery.

If you disconnect the battery or interrupt the power supply the charger will automatically assume that a different battery has been attached start the cycle again.

Do's and Don'ts

- Do charge the battery with its lid uppermost.
- Do put your battery on charge as soon as you return from the golf club.
- Do keep your battery and charger in a dry place.
- Do recharge your battery after every round, even if you have only played 5 holes.
- Do charge in a well ventilated area.

- Do NOT play more than 18 holes of golf from one charge.
- Do NOT drop the battery or allow it to roll around in your car boot.
- Do NOT leave the charger switched off with the battery connected.
- Do NOT operate the charger with a damaged lead.
- Do NOT expose the charger to moisture.
- Do NOT fully discharge the battery.
- Do NOT leave the battery in a discharged condition; recharge as soon as possible.
